Litigation costs money, even with volunteers putting in thousands of hours of preparation time.  PR and lobbying also cost money.  If you want to support us monetarily, please send a Paypal payment to or email us at for instructions on how to send a cheque.  (So far we’ve done it on donations of $1,100,  including funds personally donated by CPAA members, and not including other expenses CPAA members have voluntarily covered off along the way, but some further expenses are anticipated and it would be extremely helpful to have your support financially as well as in spirit.).

We could use resources or funding for:

• Travel (air miles?) and lodging if this case requires our witnesses to travel or if we need to go to Ottawa for an appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada
• extra legal help for our pro bono legal counsel who has already put in a great deal of hours of free work
• Office, copying, and mailing services
• continued advocacy at the political level
